As a record producer, Teresa James is one of my favorite female singers. She doesn’t just have a lovely, engaging voice. She’s also a fine musician. I love to work with her and by now pretty much have more than enough for an album. I especially love the bluesy, soul she brings to country music, though she’s probably never considered herself a country singer. In fact, she and her husband have a Texas R & B band, a la Bonnie Raitt. She sings two songs on this album, but you’ll hear more from her I’m sure.
