Sandy and his twin brother David have had a Beverly Hills Public Relations firm for many years that handled many film and TV stars. A big break came their way, which opened the door to representing a number of country acts as well. First, Loretta Lynn mentioned in her book Coal Miner’s Daughter on page 169, “I’ve gotten a lot of nice publicity since we started working with a smart fellow named David Brokaw out in California. I always look forward to my trips to California to talk to him.”

That compliment by Loretta, caught the eye of Tandy Rice of Top Billing (the foremost booking agent in Nashville). Tandy was instrumental in getting The Brokaw Company lined up with Eddie Rabbit, Mickey Gilley, and a host of other Top Billing acts. So, today The Brokaw Company represents people across the entertainment spectrum, including Bill Cosby, Roseanne, Tony Orlando, Lindsey Wagner, Carrot Top, and a slew of country acts, Reba McEntire, Roy Clark, Kitty Wells, Brenda Lee, Glen Campbell, The Oak Ridge Boys, Toby Keith, and many others including The Kendalls, and now of course Jeannie Kendall, not to mention Loretta Lynn. See, even a P/R firm needs a break.
